Loss Study This study was performed to assess data on the use of AMAZON HERB PRODUCTS donated by the AMAZON HERB COMPANY. This test was done on a voluntary basis and no fees or compensation were received or extended by AMAZON HERB COMPANY or its employees. The study was performed in Orlando, Florida at the Rose Petal Wellness Center, a private Wellness Organization. The participants of the study were clients already members of the center. Each volunteered to use the products and were not paid for their participation or comments. WEIGHT LOSS STUDY ONSET DATE May 10, 1994 WEIGHT

LOSS STUDY RESULTS
WEIGHT
LOSS STUDY INFORMAT1ON The most common comment from the participants was the feeling of heat or warmth a few minutes after administration of the ILLUMINATION product. Further, most participants stated that they felt more energy during the workout and during the day. The participants in the study did admit to being skeptical at the onset of the study. Each had been frustrated with little significant weight loss during the previous six months. It should be noted that every participant requested further use of the product at the end of the study for their personal use. WEIGHT
LOSS STUDY OBSERVATIONS (calculations approximate for clarity)
The data shows that there was a significant percent drop in bodyweight during the time of administration of the herb products when compared to the prior six month of changes in weight. The control did not show the same trend in percent change as did the participants. WEIGHT
LOSS STUDY CONCLUSIONS Every attempt was made to insure that there was minimal variation in the workload, lifestyle and diet of each participant. Error might account for one or two misleading results, however, every participant registered a loss, 4 of the 5, showing significant loss. The control that did not receive herbal product did not show a loss. The scope of this study is limited. However, there is reasonable evidence to assume that the herbal product may have made a difference in the resulting weight loss of the participants. The study must give the reader a format with which to further pursue the possibility that these products may enhance fat metabolism through a variety of ways. It has been suggested that the metabolism may be speeded up to increase the Basal Metabolic Rate. It may enhance total energy output and thus raise total caloric expenditure. It may enhance digestion, assimilation, and utilization of food and aid in more effective food processing and storage. These are speculations based on the data and results. It is far beyond the parameters of this study to make an hypothesis on the causal effects of the products. It must be observed that the data does show a very significant change with the only known variable to be the herbal product administered to the participants in the study. It is recommended that any individual or researcher sample the product and make their own conclusions. The results from this study do show a significant reason to believe that the products may have a positive effect on fat metabolism, metabolic rate, and weight loss.
